You're having fun playing, and suddenly in the middle of the game, you get banned for walling. The first question you'd ask yourself is: How in the world will i prove that i wasn't walling?
You no longer have to worry about it because we at Dubai Play Time will take care of you :)
Starting from today (31st of December, 2012), as soon as you join the server, the following will happen:
- The server will automatically record a video of you while you play. You don't have to do anything.
- On the beginning of every map, the previous map's video record will be overwritten by a new one. This is to ensure that the file size of your video record stays under control.
- The recording will automatically stop and get saved as soon as you leave the server, or get banned or kicked.
- If you get banned unfairly for hacking, you can either e-mail the administrator who banned you with the video record as proof that you weren't hacking or e-mail Whisper.
Where will the video file be saved? How can I find it?
- If you are a steam user, the file path would be:
C:\steam\steamapps\accountname\counter-strike\cstrike\dpt_record.dem
OR
C:\program files\steam\steamapps\accountname\counter-strike\cstrike\dpt_record.dem - accountname is usually your e-mail address. The above directories are only examples.
- If you are a non-steam user, the file path would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike\cstrike\dpt_record.dem
How can I watch the video that was recorded?
Simply load the console and type playdemo dpt_record and press enter. You don't have to join the server to view the video.
